The Indo-German Chamber of Commerce (IGCC), along with its knowledge Partner - SKP, is pleased to invite you to an exclusive coverage of the Union Budget 2017-18 on Friday, 3 February 2017 at the “Cedar” Room, Crowne Plaza, Pune City Centre, C.T.S. No. 37 & 37/1, Bund Garden Road, Next to Jehangir Hospital, Pune – 411001, where we discuss the intricacies and implications of the Budget.
Over the last year, the Indian government has aggressively pursued reforms with the objective of improving the economy. Initiatives such as the Black Money Act, Income Declaration Scheme and demonetisation as well as the considerable progress on the GST Bill were bold moves that show the government's commitment towards reform. It is believed that Budget 2017 will have several direct tax reforms to boost savings and disposable income, encourage start-ups, improve the ease of doing business in India and attract foreign investments. The shift in the date of the Budget 2017 announcement is also noteworthy and could be an indication of the changes to come.
