German Trade Fairs
Germany is the world's leading centre for international trade fairs. According to the Association of German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA) two third of the leading global trade fairs in the individual sector take place in Germany and around 150 international trade fairs with over 160,000 exhibitors and 9 to 10 million visitors are organized annually. One of the most important features of German trade fairs is their internationality: More than half of the exhibitors come from abroad, out of which about two-third from countries outside Europe.
Indo-German Chamber of Commerce is the official representative of German Trade Fairs organized by Berlin Fairs, Nürnberg Fairs, The Toy Fair, Nürnberg Global Fairs, USETEC, RESALE etc. In addition to this, the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce now represents select international trade fairs organized by Hamburg Messe.
Indian Trade Fairs
The development of the Indian Trade Fair industry is very fast and dynamic and has since long entered into competition with other countries. Especially foreign exhibitors will find Indian fairs offer a very good cost-benefit ratio in comparison with other countries. The growing number of German companies exhibiting at trade fairs in India is reflecting the increasing interest of the German industry in the Indian market.
The Indo-German Chamber of Commerce organizes the participation of German and Indo-German Joint Venture companies under the banner “German Group” at major Indian Trade Fairs. The German Pavilion is marked by high quality stand construction and display. Our unique ‘German Club' is a meeting point for German and Indian exhibitors and visitors. For German exhibitors, a trade fair participation within a German Pavilion is facilitating their – sometimes first – step into the Indian market.
