Asia-Pacific Conference of German Business 2024
The Asia-Pacific Conference of German Business is a biennial event is the leading networking event in the Asia-Pacific region, attracting political and business leaders from Germany and the region. The Indo-German Chamber of Commerce was proud to be the local host for the 18th Asia-Pacific Conference of German Business (APK 2024) in New Delhi.
It took place in New Delhi from 24–26 October 2024 and welcomed over 800 participants from Germany and the Asia-Pacific region. The conference's objective was to provide a platform to deepen the dialogue on economic developments in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region as well as to build and strengthen personal and economic ties.
The conference was co-chaired by the APA Chairman, President and CEO of Siemens, Roland Busch, and the Vice Chancellor and Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, Robert Habeck. The APK coincided with the German-Indian intergovernmental consultations. Speakers were, among others, Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz. The key topics in Delhi included geopolitical upheavals, sustainability, resilience in industrial value chains and innovation in Germany and Asia.
