About the Role

The In-House Designer is responsible for delivering high-quality visual design across all organisational touchpoints, supporting all teams of IGCC.

 

The role spans a broad range of design outputs including editorial and digital communications, event collateral and institutional presentations. The designer is to ensure visual consistency and brand integrity across all IGCC materials.

 

This is a full-time in-office role based in Mumbai, and reports to the Director General.  

Key responsibilities include  
  • Communications & Editorial Design: Design and layout newsletters, magazines, brochures, and other publications in coordination with the Communications and Advertising team.
  • Event Collateral: Develop visual assets for events including stage backgrounds, standees, banners, signage, and on-ground branding materials in coordination with the Events team.
  • Presentations & Business Development: Create and maintain polished decks for sponsorship proposals, institutional presentations, and stakeholder engagements.
  • Digital & Social Assets: Design digital creatives for social media, email campaigns, and web use, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.
  • UX/UI Support: Contribute to user experience and interface design for digital platforms, microsites, and event landing pages as required.
  • Regional Support: Assist Regional Directors across IGCC offices with design requirements including localised collateral and presentations.
  • Brand Stewardship: Maintain and apply IGCC's visual identity consistently across all outputs and guide internal stakeholders on brand usage.
  • Design Operations: Manage design files, templates, and asset libraries to ensure organised, accessible, and reusable design resources.
Educational Qualifications and Professional Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Interaction Design, or a related discipline.
  • 6–8 years of professional design experience, preferably within a corporate, institutional, or agency environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in editorial and print design, including multi-page publications and magazines.
  • Exposure to event and experiential branding, including large-format design outputs.
  • Experience in UX/UI design for web and digital platforms.
Skills 
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design platforms including Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat), Figma, Canva for Enterprise, and PowerPoint / Google Slides.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered design tools (such as Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, or similar) and an ability to integrate these into design workflows efficiently.
  • Working knowledge of tools such as Adobe XD, After Effects, or equivalent motion and prototyping software is an advantage.
  • Strong awareness of current design trends across digital, print, and experiential media.
  • Strong attention to detail in typography, layout, colour, and brand consistency.
  • Effective communicator, able to interpret briefs from non-design stakeholders and present creative work with clarity.
  • Ability to manage multiple briefs simultaneously, meeting deadlines across teams and geographies.
  • Structured, self-directed working style with the ability to operate independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment.

About the Role

On behalf of the German Government, the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce in India is the official advisory centre for recognition of qualifications for working in Germany. With its project ‘ProRecognition’ it provides free of cost preliminary consultations for individuals interested in working in Germany. Also on behalf of the German Government the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce implements the Hand in Hand for International Talents project, which selects, prepares and matches suitable candidates in certain professions with jobs in Germany.

 

The Head, Skilled Migration oversees and leads both the ProRecognition and the Hand in Hand projects and teams. This is a full-time role which may be based in Pune or Mumbai, and reports to the Regional Director.  

Key responsibilities include  
  • Lead the Hand-in-Hand and ProRecognition teams and ensure achievement of project targets and deadlines 
  • Develop and implement strategies for project growth in India  
  • Coordinate with and report to the project teams in Germany 
  • Identify new partners and build strategic networks, including communication and coordination with relevant authorities in India and Germany 
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies and initiatives for the project in India 
  • Plan, monitor, and manage project budgets, including coordination of invoicing to DIHK 
  • Ensure quality management and maintain comprehensive process documentation for all project activities 
  • Design, implement, refine, and document processes for international recruitment, interview support, and pre-departure preparation; establish support services in the area of skilled migration
  • Develop a blueprint for transitioning project activities into long-term, self-sustaining services integrated within the Chamber's core offerings post-funding phase 
  • Create synergies between Skilled Migration and other service areas of the AHK 
Educational Qualifications and Professional Experience
  • Bachelor’s in any field from a recognized university.
  • Experience of working/studying in Germany is preferred.
  • 8-10 years of relevant work experience including project management, preferably in a German organization.
Skills 
  • Excellent German and English communication skills (C1 and above is preferred)
  • Proficient in project budgeting
  • Familiarity with basic accounting is an advantage

Key responsibilities include  
  • We wish to set up a minimum of five different workshop formats, each shall lead to four or more functions per year: HR, Legal, Finance/Tax, Compliance, Sustainability, plus other formats, if required by the local membership base.
  • Creation of a project plan ensuring compliance with all defined project steps. Please bear in mind that we would like to organize a total of minimum 20 workshops per year in the region. Concentration on one workshop format at a time is advised.
  • In coordination with the Regional Director, identify one company representative for each workshop format. The designated representative will:
    • Support the preparation of the workshop as a subject matter expert (e.g. defining key topics and advising relevant representatives from the local administration to be invited).
    • Serve as moderator for all workshops within the respective format during the calendar year.
    • To ensure neutrality and effective facilitation, the moderator should not simultaneously act as a content presenter during the meetings. Implement and supervise all workshop activities.
  • Implementation of workshop concepts. The job holder is responsible for the meeting itinerary, the room booking (please note that such functions can be carried out in our office or at the premises of our membership companies), invitation of guests (HR Heads to HR functions – please note that existing databases may need upgrading), welcoming of guests and smooth execution of the individual workshops.

About the Role

The Senior Executive, Market Intelligence is responsible for the planning, acquisition, implementation of delegation projects, with a primary operational focus on India and coordination with German partners and funding institutions.

 

The role covers the entire project lifecycle, including proposal development, acquisition of participants, market and technology analysis, programme planning, on-site execution, financial processing, and reporting in line with funding and compliance requirements.

 

The full-time role based in Pune, India and reports to the Senior Manager, Delegations.

Key responsibilities include  
  • Acquisition: Plan and manage the acquisition of Indian companies for delegations, assess suitability in line with project objectives, and identify relevant experts and speakers.
  • Market Intelligence: Define project-specific technology focus areas and prepare market analyses, and background papers based on desk research and expert consultations on market potential, regulation, and technology landscapes.
  • Programme Development: Coordinate pre-delegation communication, define delegation themes, dates, and locations with partners, and collect and review company profiles and materials for programme and B2B planning.
  • Marketing, B2B & Outreach: Maintain stakeholder databases, manage invitations and registrations, coordinate structured B2B meetings, and ensure timely preparation and dissemination of programmes, brochures, and delegate information.
  • Logistics & On-Site Coordination: Coordinate event logistics; and travel with the delegation to support participants on-site.
Educational Qualifications and Professional Experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in economics, business administration, public policy, engineering, international relations, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of relevant professional experience in international business cooperation formats.
  • Experience in organising business delegations, B2B meetings, or international events.
  • Experience with public funding schemes, tender procedures, and related compliance and reporting processes.
  • Sectoral knowledge in areas such as renewable energy, sustainability, industrial technologies, or related fields of Indo-German cooperation.

  • Unterstützung bei Projekten der Außenwirtschaftsförderung
Ihr Profil
  • Einschlägige Berufserfahrung im internationalen Umfeld oder in der Außenwirtschaft von Vorteil
  • Hohes Interesse an Indien und den deutsch-indischen Wirtschaftsbeziehungen
  • Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
  • Organisationskompetenz, Kommunikationsstärke und Freude an Netzwerkarbeit
  • Erfahrung in der Aufbereitung und Vermittlung fachlicher Inhalte für unterschiedliche Zielgruppen (Newsletter, Präsentationen, Artikel etc.).
