About the Role
In this role, the Programme Manager, collaborates the Indo German Training Centre (IGTC) in Mumbai to set up, organize and manage all IGTC programmes in Pune.
The full-time role is based in Pune and reports to the Regional Director. This position involves travel between our Pune and Mumbai offices.
Key responsibilities include
1. Programme Promotion, Marketing & Admissions
- Promote Executive Business Management Programmes to corporates and prospective applicants across Pune, and pan-India through presentations, webinars, and digital outreach, engaging HR, L&D Heads, and Business Leaders to build a strong nomination and enrolment pipeline.
- Manage the end-to-end admissions; application screening, counselling, and coordination with corporate HR/L&D partners; while maintaining updated promotional materials, digital presence, and IGTC dashboards in line with IGCC branding guidelines.
2. Corporate Engagement & Academic Delivery
- Serve as the primary corporate interface to drive nominations, repeat enrolments, and long-term partnerships, while cross-selling internships, placements, and Management Development Programmes.
- Oversee academic coordination, faculty liaison, scheduling, assessments, and multi-location programme delivery, including the Capstone Project, ensuring consistent quality and industry relevance.
3. Participant Development, Administration & Strategy
- Uphold academic rigour, professional discipline, and Indo-German values, grooming participants for high standards of conduct and performance throughout the programme journey.
- Support financial operations, alumni engagement, partner university liaison, and contribute to new programme development and strategic initiatives in close coordination with the Regional Director.
Educational Qualifications and Professional Experience
- Postgraduate degree in Management / Business Administration / Education / International Business (MBA preferred).
- 4–6 years of experience in executive education, corporate training, B2B programme promotion, or institutional relationship management, with exposure to corporate outreach and revenue-linked roles.
- Experience with financial processes including invoicing, fee collection, budgeting, and cost discipline is advantageous
Skills
- Strong corporate outreach, consultative selling, and executive-level communication skills, with proven ability to engage HR/L&D leaders and drive enrolment conversions.
- Skilled relationship-builder with a commercial mindset, focused on pipeline development, cross-selling, and maximising institutional value.
- Operationally disciplined with the ability to manage multi-city coordination, senior participants, and complex stakeholder interfaces with authority and diplomacy.

We are currently seeking 2 Directors in India for our Investor Consulting division, based in New Delhi and Mumbai respectively, for a fixed-term appointment of five years. The successful applicant will be employed through the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce (IGCC).

Your Responsibilities
- Lead the GTAI India Investor Consulting offices in New Delhi and Mumbai respectively, working closely with a local employee.
- Develop and coordinate an annual overarching strategy for investor acquisition in India, in close cooperation with the GTAI industry teams.
- Independently analyse economic trends and key industries in India to identify companies with potential interest in expanding their business to Germany; establish contacts with decision-makers and conduct targeted information and investment promotion discussions.
- Actively approach and acquire investors at events such as trade fairs, conferences, workshops and webinars; promote Germany as a business location and represent GTAI externally.
- Build and continuously expand a strong network in India, engaging with public and private sector partners to encourage direct investment in Germany.
- Develop and maintain relationships with economic, political and social decision-makers, companies in target segments, business associations, institutions and authorities in Germany and abroad, including the development of partnership opportunities.
- Plan, document and manage investment projects using relevant supporting IT systems, such as CRM tools.
- Support and independently organize investor acquisition events.
- Prepare conceptual and content-driven contributions for the development and ongoing maintenance of publications.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who has
- Completed an academic degree (Master’s, Diploma or a comparable qualification) in economics, business administration, engineering or another relevant field of study (preferably MBA).
- Minimum 10 -15 years of experience into cross border trade and investment promotion.
- Sound knowledge of corporate structures and business-strategic decision-making processes, as well as solid experience in market analysis, competitive analysis and strategy development for companies or business sectors.
- Sound knowledge of India’s economic environment, research landscape and key economic trends and stakeholders, as well as an understanding of India’s political and cultural context and its relevance to the German economy.
- Sound knowledge of the structures and mechanisms of foreign trade promotion in Germany.
- Knowledge and practical experience in project management.
- Hands-on experience in using social media as a tool for communication and business development support.
- Excellent oral and written communication and professional presentation skills, with business fluent English; German language skills are desirable.
- Strong intercultural competence combined with a willingness to travel internationally.
- Proven leadership qualities, assertiveness and strong negotiating skills.
- A proactive, self-driven, independent and analytical approach to work.
- A flexible and open mindset, with the ability to develop creative and pragmatic solutions.
- Confident, practical use of AI tools to support research and day-to-day operational activities, alongside strong skills in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word).
- A strong affinity for Indian business culture and the Indian German relationship, supported by long-term relevant in-country experience.
- Existing contacts with decision-makers in Indian industrial companies, as well as excellent network-building skills.

About the Role
2026 marks the 70th anniversary of the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce, and we are producing a special edition of our Annual Review to commemorate the milestone. We are looking for an experienced Consultant Designer to lead the design and layout of this publication, working closely with our internal design and communications team to deliver a polished, print-ready and digital-ready publication within a tight timeline.
This is an on-site fixed term contract until the 30th of September based in Mumbai, and reports to the Communications Manager.
Key responsibilities include
- Design and layout the complete Annual Review publication (70th anniversary edition), based on content and images provided by IGCC or sometimes, externally and ethically sourced.
- Develop an end-to-end design concept/theme appropriate for a milestone 70th-anniversary publication, in consultation with the internal team. This includes the cover pages, placement of advertisements and content.
- Work collaboratively with IGCC's internal designer and communications personnel throughout the project, incorporating feedback, aligning on brand guidelines, and ensuring consistency of tone and visual language.
- Source, edit, or adapt supplementary visual elements (icons, infographics, layouts) as needed, in addition to the pictures provided.
- Prepare the publication for two output formats:
- A digital-ready version (optimised for online publishing/viewing)
- A print-ready version (with correct bleed, resolution, and print specifications)
- Coordinate with the printer/vendor (if required) to ensure the final files meet print production standards.
- Manage internal review cycles and incorporate revisions within the agreed timeline.
Professional Experience
- Proven experience designing annual reports, corporate publications, or similar print/digital collateral.
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe InDesign (required); working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop preferred.
- Strong understanding of print production requirements (bleed, CMYK, resolution, file formats) alongside digital publishing formats.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team, take structured feedback, and iterate quickly under deadline pressure.
- Available to work in-office for the duration of the engagement (preferred, given the importance and tight timeline of this publication).
- Immediate availability to start.

The Head: Delegations Coordination provides high-level administrative, coordination, and advisory support to the IGCC Regional Offices. The role requires exceptional discretion, professionalism, judgment, knowledge, execution and strategic inputs. The Head: Delegations Coordination acts as a trusted gatekeeper, ensuring the integrity, security, and confidentiality of all communications, documentation, and activities related to the Delegations. Act as the primary point of contact between the Dusseldorf Office, Regional Office, Mumbai Head Office and external stakeholders, ensuring professional and discreet communication at all times.
The full-time role is based in Pune and reports to the Regional Director.
Key responsibilities include
Team Management:
- To lead Delegations Coordination Team (3 personnel)
Core Duties:
Support at proposal stage
- Coordinate between IGCC Regional Offices and collect information to provide to Dusseldorf office - venue costs, vendor costs, transportation costs, and expert costs etc. hotels, IGCC services etc
Initial preparation of delegation
- Coordinate between Regional Offices and collect information to provide to Dusseldorf office – topic, dates, cities to be visited and to prepare an end-to-end delegation program
- Prepare invitation letters for Visa
- Coordinate with Regional Offices to get information on industry associations and other relevant stakeholders and to provide to Dusseldorf office
- Coordinate with Delhi IGCC office to reach out to the embassy to inform them about the delegation and to request their involvement
- Coordinate with IGCC Regional offices to reach out to the Consulate to inform them about the delegation and to request their involvement
Marketing of delegation
- Scout and prepare relevant databases
- Prepare email invitations, registration forms/links for Indian participants
- Follow up for registrations and confirmation for their participation
- Prepare creatives for digital promotion / Brochure in co-ordination with Inhouse Graphic designer
- Digital promotion - IGCC newsletter/ website/SM handles - In co-ordination with Communications team to share what to post
Optional: B2B meetings
- Prepare invitation and registration form
- Prepare calendar invites for the delegates and companies
Logistics coordination
- Research domestic flight(s) and coordinate a) either directly with participants to share their booking or b) to make a booking via a vendor
Post-delegation responsibilities/tasks – Invoicing, Reporting, Closing
- Financial Responsibility for all financial transactions in close cooperation with Finance Department (Mumbai)
- Write an article about the delegation in the chamber magazine and create a social media post / coordinate with the Communications Team
Educational Qualifications and Professional Experience
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in International business/trade, Economics, or related field
- Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in managing international business delegation programs

- Sound interpersonal and intercultural skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively delegate
- German language proficiency CEFR C1 and above or a native speaker
