The 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 of the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce held its third in-person meeting since its launch in December, graciously hosted by Covestro India.
With around ten representatives from leading German organisations, the meeting brought together diverse perspectives on some of the issues shaping businesses today, from the 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗲𝗻 𝗭 𝘁𝗼 𝗛𝗥 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗖𝗖𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆–𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.
A particularly interesting conversation explored the evolution of 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘀; 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀, reflecting the increasingly important role India plays within global organisations.
Our visit to Covestro also gave members an opportunity to discover its work in circularity, inclusive business and global capabilities, including IT & digitalisation, business continuity and application development.
But beyond the agenda, what stood out was the quality of the interaction.
With every meeting, the Council is becoming more open, connected and collaborative; creating a space where members can share experiences, discuss challenges and discover opportunities together.
This is what we want the Western Region Council to be: 𝗔 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. 𝗔 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲. 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁.
A warm thank you to Covestro India for the generous hospitality and for giving our members such an insightful look into the organisation and its culture.
We look forward to continuing to build this community together.
