The Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW), Heilbronn student delegation was warmly received at the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce (IGCC) by Radhieka Mehta, Regional Director, IGCC; Tom Reiner, Director Services; and Ashumi Shroff, Representative of the State of Baden-Württemberg.
The visit offered the students an introduction to the Indo-German business network and the strong ties between Germany and India. The collaboration between the State of Baden-Württemberg and the State of Maharashtra makes the delegation’s visit particularly meaningful, bringing together students, institutions and industry across both regions.
The students were then introduced to the IGTC–DHBW collaboration, gaining an insight into the German Dual Education System and the opportunities it creates for international academic and industry exposure.
At IGTC, faculty-led sessions on Marketing in India and Logistics in India offered the students perspectives on the Indian business landscape.
The experience continued beyond the classroom with a visit to the Häfele Design Centre, Mahalaxmi, offering a first-hand look at industry and business in India.
A day that brought together global perspectives and real-world industry experience at the heart of the Indo-German partnership.
