To be compliant with the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act, or Lieferkettensorgfaltspflichtengesetz (LkSG), companies must provide a functioning and accessible complaints mechanism to the workforce and suppliers by establishing robust procedures or by utilising an external grievance mechanism. As the focus increasingly shifts towards business responsibility, the German Supply Chain Act is just the beginning of international regulations that mandate grievance procedures.
Accordingly, IGCC in cooperation with Alliance for Integrity aims to support the Indo-German Business Community in its business integrity and compliance efforts through ‘FairVoice’, an Inter-Company Grievance Mechanism. FairVoice connects companies and their suppliers to an all-encompassing complaints and whistleblowing platform handled by subject matter experts.
