Indo-German Chamber of Commerce (IGCC) together with the German Water Partnership (GWP) is organizing a two-day event in Chennai on the 23-24th of January 2023 as a dialogue format titled "Greendustrial Dialogues India". Up to 10 German companies will participate and travel to India as part of this project.
The thematic focus of the event is to strengthen and promote a holistic approach for the treatment of industrial wastewater. The exchange between Indian and German companies will be aimed at identifying sustainable solutions to address the often-insufficient treatment of industrial wastewater at a global level.
The project is funded by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety, and Consumer Protection (BMUV) as a part of the Export Initiative Environmental Protection.
During the event the German companies will present an overview of their products and best practices to Indian companies and experts from the industry. Furthermore, they seek to engage with Indian companies seeking business cooperations to find holistic and sustainable solutions for the problem at hand.
