With the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Law finally coming into force starting from January 2023, companies in India and Germany are entering execution period where they are legally required by the law to implement the various provisions in the law. The German Federal Office for Economic Cooperation and Export Control, the Federal Agency with the authority to provide guidelines on the law as well as monitor the compliance of the law, published several guidelines for businesses to follow.
