Spiel Essen is the world's largest public fair for board games and brings together passionate game fans with national and international exhibitors in Germany in the heart of the Ruhr area. Here one can discover new titles from all over the world, enjoy the company of other gamers and above all play as much as you want. Because playing is in the heart of SPIEL. 
All kinds of products are presented at Essen: from family, adult, children and parlour games to strategy, adventure, fantasy, role playing and science fiction games. Comics, toys and electronic games complete the SPIEL experience.
Exhibitors come into direct contact with around 200,000 game-loving fans at the fair and present new products and top titles to them.  Visitors can try out games at booths and buy them in stores directly on site. 

SPIEL Essen 2023 thrilled visitors and exhibitors alike and attracted 193,000 visitors from 85 nations, over 1,750 novelties and 935 exhibitors from 56 countries.
