The Indo-German Chamber of Commerce (IGCC) is sponsoring and conducting an Introductory Certification Program on Anti-Covid Hygiene Training for textile producers in India. This cohesive and interactive training program aims at supporting textile producers in India to operate their plants safely efficiently as well as help to protect textile workers against the danger of Covid-19 infections.
Due to the pandemic, many Indian states have put in place regulations to prevent the spread of the coronavirus in manufacturing plants. At the same time, textile brands require their suppliers to comply with high hygiene standards. Restarting operations in India requires textile manufacturers and textile exporters to comply with certain hygiene regulations to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
About the Training Program
The training program aims to support textile manufacturers and exporters in India to operate their factories safely and efficiently, protect their workers against Covid-19 infections, and strengthen their business concerns abroad.
The training will be delivered by our expert trainers covering all mandatory and important safety and hygiene protocols relevant to the textile industry. Textile producers will be equipped with the knowledge and essential implementation tools required to create easy-to-follow Covid-19 protocols in their factories by the end of this training.
The Training Program is an initiative of the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with ExperTS, which is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
Features of the Training Program
- Recognition through certificates upon completion of the course.
- Training on curriculum developed in India, based on Indian and German hygiene standards.
- Training materials, posters, hand-outs adapted to the local context will be provided along with the training which can be used in the production sites.
- Hand-holding approach to help producers implement hygiene measures.
Duration and Platform of training: 3-hour Training

All textiles producers and manufacturers operating in India. Employees in decision-making positions are encouraged to apply.
