Background
The EU CSDDD, which entered into force on 25 July 2024, marks a significant regulatory milestone. While the Directive will be adopted by the EU in 2024, member states have two years to transpose it into their national laws, with implementation beginning in 2027. The CSDDD requires companies to conduct thorough human rights due diligence across their entire supply chain, extending beyond the EU to global subsidiaries and suppliers.
This webinar will provide valuable insights into how companies, particularly those outside the EU, can adapt and align their operations with the new Directive. German industry’s experience with LkSG offers a valuable blueprint for navigating these challenges and seizing new opportunities in a changing business landscape.
