Indo-German Chamber of Commerce (IGCC), in cooperation with its knowledge partner, Control Risks Pvt. Ltd organised an informative seminar on

‘The Top Five Global Risks in 2019’ at IGCC’s office in Mumbai.

Mr. Bernhard Steinruecke, Director General, IGCC, welcomed the gathering after which the Seminar on the Top 5 Global Risks was given by Mr. Amit Narayan-Partner and Managing Director South Asia with Control Risks. Mr. Narayan has had over two years of experience in supporting a wide range of private and public sector clients in South Asia by Mitigating risk strategies, with a focus on managing reputation to drive growth.

Mr. Amit Narayan through his presentation explained the key points of

  • 1. US-China trade rift foretells a new global order
  • 2. The global data regulations stand-off
  • 3. American political gridlock
  • 4. Climate change driving politicised regulation
  • 5. Nationalist politics confronting multinationals

 

It was a well- attended event by around 40 representatives of the Indo-German Companies in Mumbai and Delhi respectively. The lively presentation resulted in a very dynamic and interactive Q &A session.

Mr. Steinruecke, Director General, IGCC, gave his views and vote of thanks which was followed by networking over refreshments.
