Diversity and Inclusion have become the normal reality for global businesses. The presence of different people in an organisation and ensuring that everyone has an equal opportunity to contribute as well as influence every part and level of a workplace makes businesses better. There is an abundance of evidence that diverse and inclusive companies perform better and are likely to faster decisions during a crisis.

Keeping in mind the need of the decade for greater diversity inclusion, the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce created a dedicated initiative to support businesses to enlarge their inclusion footprint, increase access to a skilled diverse group of people in India. Currently, the initiative takes a look at the situation of people with disabilities in the workplace.

In this webinar, the IGCC in partnership with CBM India will officially unveil its publication on the topic of the Inclusion of Persons with disabilities in the workplace in India. The publication answers some important challenges as well as provides short guidelines on how companies can start their Inclusion programme.

  • What are the challenges in India to create greater participation of persons with disabilities in the workplace?
  • What are the solutions available to companies in the journey of greater inclusion?
  • How can you realise a company’s potential through diversity and inclusion and how do you start?
  • How can businesses in India move forward with Inclusion amidst a crisis?
  • What other initiative IGCC has in Diversity and Inclusion that could benefit your company?
