A free public exhibition on Germany’s transition to a sustainable energy system with renewable energy sources.
The German Energiewende, or “The German Energy Transition”, will showcase Germany’s journey to switch from non-sustainable energy sources to sustainable ones in its pursuit of producing 100% of its energy through renewable sources by 2050. The exhibition will open from 10.00 AM to 6.00 PM everyday.
Did you for example know that by 2022 Germany will shut down all nuclear power plants? How can we make energy supply secure, affordable, and sustainable? The German travelling exhibition “Energiewende” will answer these questions as well as spell out Germany’s approach towards a sustainable energy supply, based on energy efficiency and renewable energies.
Energiewende will reveal the challenges related to renewable energy adoption and showcase the solutions taken to overcome them.
