The evening networking event  “German  Supply  Chain  Due  Diligence  Act  –  Potential Impact and Further Guidance” is part of IGCC’s Series “Growing with Responsibility” engaging the Indo-German Business Community on:

1)Promoting responsible business conduct in the supply chain,

2)Announcing IGCC’s “German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act Training” companies with guidance on the German Due Diligence Act (LkSG), and

3)Offering   physical   networking   opportunities   with   the   Indo-German   Business   &   Sustainability   Community in Pune. 

The  German  Supply  Chain  Due  Diligence  Act -  Lieferkettensorgfaltspflichtengesetz (LkSG)  -  is  set  to  be  enforced on 1 January 2023 for companies with 3000 or more employees and will be applicable for companies with 1000 or more employees on 1 January 2024. The Act will require mandatory compliance on human rights due diligence for companies headquartered in Germany as well as businesses with business connections in Germany.

The event is organized in cooperation with the Business Scouts for Development programme which is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ)
