Why is it so important to manage stress?
Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, several countries across the world resorted to lockdown to “flatten the curve” of the infection. These lockdowns meant confining millions of citizens to their homes with sudden and drastic alteration in the daily routine to achieve the goal of reducing infections, which has led to reduced access to family, friends, and other social support systems. All modes of communication these days revolve around the virus. Mental health is a crucial aspect that needs to be addressed during such period.
Effective stress management helps you break the hold stress has on your life, so you can be happier, healthier, and more productive. The ultimate goal is a balanced life, with time for work, relationships, relaxation, and fun—and the resilience to hold up under pressure and meet challenges head on.
