66th Annual General Meeting of IGCC 2022 concluded successfully

The 66th AGM of the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce was held successfully on 23rd September 2022 at President hotel, Cuffe Parade, Mumbai. AGM attendance was increased due to a steady decrease in COVID cases this year. Close to 400 members were present physically for the event. 

This year we had Mr. Wolfgang Tiefensee, State Minister of Economy, Science, and the Digital Society- Government of Thuringia as our chief guest. 

The event started with a ribbon cutting and opening remarks by Mr. Stefan Halusa, Director General, IGCC, followed by an address by Mr. Puneet Chhatwal, outgoing President, IGCC and MD & CEO of IHCL, Mr. Achim Fabig, German Consul General, Mumbai, and Mr. Wolfgang Tiefensee, State Minister of Economy, Science, and the Digital Society- Government of Thuringia.

This year we are happy to welcome Mr. Anupam Chaturvedi as incoming President of IGCC, Mr. George Ettiyil as incoming Vice-President of IGCC and Mr. Kaushik Shaparia as the Honorary Treasurer of IGCC. We would also like to thank Mr. Puneet Chhatwal outgoing President IGCC for his valuable contribution during his tenure as President of IGCC. 

AGM Awards 

As we do every year, we also presented IGCC Awards and the Dr. Günter Krüger Award for excellence. Victor Forgings and Norex Flavours Private Limited won the IGCC award, and Hitarthi Somaiya bagged the Dr. Günter Krüger Award for excellence. Apart from this, two lucky guests Arka and Enercon won the Lufthansa lucky draw and got two tickets to fly to Europe. Heartiest Congratulations to all the winners. 

All in all, it was an incredible event that concluded with a DJ night, drinks and dinner with networking opportunities.
