A Milestone Moment: IGTC Pune’s EBMP Certificate Ceremony 2025

29/04/2025

March 22, 2025 – A bright Saturday morning at the Taj Vivanta Hotel, Pune marked a proud and memorable occasion for the Indo-German Training Centre (IGTC), as the 10th successful batch of the Executive Business Management Programme (EBMP) in Pune celebrated their certificate ceremony and the beginning of a new chapter in their professional journeys.

This was indeed a special day, marking the culmination of a 12-month, part-time general management programme, delivered over 54 days of live weekend sessions on alternate Saturdays and Sundays. Designed for mid- to senior-level professionals, the EBMP enabled participants to balance work, learning, and life — a true testament to their commitment and determination.

Under the mentorship of seasoned professors and industry experts, participants experienced a growth-driven curriculum that blended theory with practical learning. They worked on real-time business projects, received expert feedback, and built cross-functional leadership capabilities they could immediately apply in their roles.

The ceremony celebrated the transformation of professionals who dedicated themselves to a year of intense learning, reflection, and development. The morning was filled with pride and inspiration, as participants were joined by their families, mentors, and corporate sponsors.

The event began with a warm welcome by Ms. Beena Nair, Director, IGTC, followed by heartfelt reflections from faculty members, highlighting the cohort’s spirit, collaboration, and resilience.

Adding gravitas to the occasion, Mr. Rajesh Mishra, Managing Director, Vulkan Technologies, graced the ceremony as Chief Guest. In his inspiring address, he emphasized the importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance and addressed the challenges Indian businesses face in a changing global landscape. His message encouraged participants to remain adaptable and forward-thinking.

A particularly heartening element was the extraordinary support from both our esteemed faculty members and the corporate world. Many of our dedicated professors and academic mentors attended in large numbers, celebrating the achievements of the participants they had guided throughout the year. IGTC was also humbled by the presence of Managing Directors, Vice Presidents, General Managers, HR leaders, and Heads of Departments, who came to cheer on their team members. Together, their presence reflected the deep-rooted faith in the EBMP and IGTC’s unique industry-academia partnership.

Mentors and company representatives also shared candid insights on the professional growth they witnessed in their nominees, making the ceremony not only a celebration but also a moment of reflection.

Each participant received a certificate and trophy, symbolizing both academic and personal growth. The graduating cohort featured professionals nominated by prestigious Indo-German companies:

ARaymond India, BHTC, Bosch Chassis Systems India, Brose India, EDAG, Forvia India, Glatt Systems, Knorr-Bremse, Mercedes-Benz India, Siemens, TKIL, Wirtgen India, Vulkan Technologies, and VR Coatings.

As the ceremony drew to a close, a strong sense of belonging and achievement was evident. These graduates now join the ever-growing IGTC Alumni Network, united by a shared commitment to excellence and lifelong learning.

Looking ahead, IGTC is excited to welcome the next EBMP Mumbai batch, beginning in September 2025. We look forward to continuing this journey with a new group of inspired professionals.

Congratulations to the EBMP Pune Class of 2025 — your journey has just begun.
