Celebrating Excellence: IGTC's 31st Batch Convocation

The Indo-German Training Centre's 31st Batch Convocation on February 29th, 2024, was a momentous occasion filled with excitement and anticipation. It marked the graduation ceremony for the Post Graduate Programme in Business Administration (PGPBA) students. Beyond being a mere academic event, it was a celebration of resilience, determination, and the collaborative spirit that defines the IGTC (Indo-German Training Centre) community.

At this juncture, IGTC takes pride in nurturing talent from diverse educational backgrounds, as seen in the 44 graduates of the 31st batch. The batch consisted of 57% female and 43% male students with diverse academic backgrounds such as Economics, Commerce, Science, Engineering, Business, Architecture, and Pharma. This diversity not only enriches the learning environment but also promotes interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation, which is at the core of IGTC's educational philosophy.

The convocation ceremony served as an emotional reminder of the centre's motto, 'Phenomenal we will be,' as each graduate's journey highlighted their unwavering commitment and perseverance. Despite the challenges faced in the past 18 months, the graduates achieved remarkable accomplishments that filled the auditorium with pride and admiration. The applause echoed the collective triumph of the IGTC community, inspiring everyone present to embrace new beginnings with courage and optimism. In her address, Mira Dalvi Sahni, the Director of IGTC, commended the graduates for their exceptional performance and encouraged them to uphold the centre's values of integrity, innovation, and excellence. The convocation ceremony was also an opportunity to express gratitude to the corporate partners whose unwavering support has been crucial in IGTC's success story. Tanaya Deole received the prestigious Siemens Award for Excellence, while Priyasi Shah won the Dr. Günter Krüger Award for Academic Excellence. Both students were recognized for their outstanding contributions, earning prestigious awards and accolades. Their dedication and excellence serve as a source of inspiration, exemplifying IGTC's dedication to holistic development and academic rigour.

The esteemed faculty members of IGTC were also acknowledged for their guidance and mentorship, which has shaped the academic journey of the graduates. IGTC team extends their sincere appreciation to all those who have played a pivotal role in IGTC's success story. This includes the Honourable Consul General of Germany Achim Fabig, the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce management team, President George Ettiyil, Director General Stefan Halusa, Deputy Director General Ute Brockmann, HR Head Birju Sheth in Mumbai, and the dedicated faculty of IGTC.
