IGCC And Bosch Rexroth To Launch Industry 4.0 Courses

07/01/2022

The Indo-German Chamber of Commerce and Bosch Rexroth have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to launch two new certification courses for industry 4.0: “Industry 4.0 Specialist” and “Trainee in Industry 4.0”.

The fourth industrial revolution is radically changing value chains. While the digital networking of humans, plants, logistics, and products allows for highly customised production, it also poses various new challenges to businesses worldwide. In order to successfully manage the optimisation potential of industry 4.0 as well as its technological, safety-related, and legal framework, companies require wellqualified employees with the latest knowhow. This is where the new certification courses of IGCC and Rexroth come in. Within a duration of 65 – 100 hours, they cater to the respective qualification needs of experienced professionals as well as freshers.

The “Industry 4.0 Specialist” enables professionals from the manufacturing sector to understand opportunities and challenges associated with industry 4.0 from a technological, organisational, conceptual, and legal perspective. Based on this, they learn to develop concepts for new solutions, execute them in the workplace, and select appropriate methods and technologies.
On completion, participants will be able to manage or coordinate industry 4.0 projects independently.

Meanwhile, the “Trainee in Industry 4.0” addresses apprentices and engineering graduates by providing them with a solid foundation of the subject matter. Not only are they introduced to various new technologies, but they are also given the methodological knowledge to apply them in a process-oriented manner.

Both courses are planned to be launched from the end of the year. For more information on the courses, please write to Isabell Jenninger at dualpro@indogerman.com
