'Hand in Hand for International Talents' is a joint pilot project by the Federal Employment Agency and DIHK Service GmbH, which is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.
The current project duration is April 2024 to December 2027. The aim of the project is to develop and test a practical process to attract and place qualified specialists in IHK professions from third countries. For this purpose, skilled professionals are recruited from selected pilot countries and the IHK-AHK network is used in cooperation with the Federal Employment Agency. The Indo-German Chamber of Commerce (IGCC) is the local implementation partner for the HiH project in India and is responsible for identifying and preparing candidates for their employment in Germany.
As part of the placement process, project participants should be qualified in the German language for the purpose of taking up employment in Germany. Therefore, a contract should be awarded to a language service provider who will implement high-quality linguistic qualifications for the project participants up to the German B1 language level.
Further information about the project can be found on the Make-it-in-Germany portal or the DIHK Service GmbH website or IGCC website.
Expected start of service provision: August 1, 2024
Expected end of service provision: December 31, 2025
The IGCC looks forward to receiving proposals from qualified providers to support this important migration project.
